It is So
Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity.
Inspiration for Everyday Life
Welcome to Purpose-N-Promises! Let me start by saying that you are amazing! You are not reading this blog by accident, but by divine purpose. God created you for greatness. There is nothing ordinary about you. You are meant to be here...in this time...in this place. YOU HAVE A PURPOSE. Most importantly, God loves you and there is NOTHING you can do about it.
Here you will find weekly devotionals to inspire, encourage, and challenge you as we journey through this thing called life...the good, the bad, and ugly. My heart’s desire is for you to walk in your greatness and God given purposes (yes I said purposes with a “s"), despite natural circumstances, and for you to experience the fulfillment of all God’s promises.
So kick off your shoes and relax your feet, and let’s experience God together!
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29: 11
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. -1Peter 2:9
Purpose in the Making
I'm Chan, a Georgia born country girl who has an appetite for city living, family, friends, shopping, comedy, inspiring others, and all things God. This blog has been a long time coming! I have a God given passion for inspiring and encouraging others. I finally decided to own my purpose and be intentional about it.
I’ve been writing devotionals since before I can remember. Towards the end of last year, God placed it upon my heart to share my devotionals with the world, not just my family, close friends, and acquaintances like I have been. So I created this Purpose-N-Promises Blog with a mission to share Gods love, provide inspiration and encouragement, and provide spiritual tools for us to experience God’s promises in our everyday lives and walk in our God given purposes.
So, explore the blog, be encouraged, and feel free to comment or send me an message.
